Taiwan is indeed in, and boy do they suck ATM. I too encountered them, and Flawlessed them a few hours ago.

They were using premades/henches on the Underworld map.

Give them time They're only just starting out. You wouldn't want them to get too good too fast, would you?

Believe me them Taiwan peoples are crazy with MMORPG like Guild Wars. Give them time to learn the skills and long hours of pratices.. Than they won't be easy to beat anymore!

Now it's going to be interesting. More countries to compete with, the more fun it'll be.

I think having a couple more regions will make the competition a lot more fun. I am sure I'll appreciate favor more. It might be harder to get favor but this could also make it a lot easier to hold favor for a while. Say you have favor and Europe is 2 wins away from gaining it, then Korea comes in and wins, then TW, and etc. A region holding favor might hold it for longer which could be bad and good depending on who has it. I think that could pull some guilds into Tombs and HoH a lot more.

China, saddly, has alot of Farmers in it.

These players would only hold Hall if Sigils spiked in price and it was more profitable than farming.

/not saying all Chinese are farmers, this is just where most of the Ebay gold sellers setup shop/

and Korea is one of the Most MMO crazy countries on the planet.

so... wait a sec, taiwan is its own region? that doesn't make any sense. korea has about 46 million ppl and taiwan has 22 million. germany alone has 82 million, and france has 60 million. how can taiwan possibly be expected to hold its own against the rest of the world?

this only makes sense if it's temporary. it only makes sense if they soon combine all the other asian nations into a single region like europe. otherwise it wouldn't be even remotely fair.

All facts are according to the CIA worldfact book

South Korea Poulation: 48,422,644 (July 2005 est.)
Taiwan Population: 22,894,384 (July 2005 est.)
USA Population: 295,734,134 (July 2005 est.)

Given the size difference between Korea and the US, one would have to wonder how Korea manages to compete, but they do. I really don't see it being a problem for Taiwan. There are games with a world wide population of 25000 + an additional 20000 in Taiwan.
